Privacy Policy

This site collects anonymous usage data in two ways. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every visit — a cookieless beacon that gathers aggregate traffic metrics and nothing that personally identifies you. PostHog collects pageview and interaction data only if you accept analytics in the banner.

Declining analytics leaves the site fully functional. You will not be asked again unless you clear your browser storage.

Two services receive anonymous data about your visit:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — Always on, no consent needed. A cookieless beacon that counts pageviews and aggregate traffic metrics for infrastructure monitoring. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• PostHog — Only if you accept analytics in the banner. Pageviews, button clicks, referrer, browser, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP, used to understand which parts of the site resonate. PostHog privacy policy.

• Names, emails, phone numbers, or any contact details. This site never asks for them.
• Payment information. Purchases happen on Steam, outside this site.
• Any data from the game. Scriptura on Steam does not send analytics of any kind. Game data stays on your device.

Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies. If you accept analytics, PostHog sets a cookie to distinguish your browser from other visitors for trend analysis. It expires after 12 months. Declining analytics prevents this cookie from being set. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie.

Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and similar regimes you can:

• Request a copy of any data tied to your browser ID.
• Request deletion of that data.
• Withdraw consent at any time — clear your browser's localStorage for this site and the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.

Analytics data is retained for 12 months in PostHog, then automatically deleted. Cloudflare Web Analytics follows Cloudflare's own retention policy linked above.

If this policy changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will change. Consent already given remains valid unless the change broadens what is collected, in which case the banner will reappear.
